No ear phones, but didn't need them with this it nearly blew the top off my detector. Round top of it was about 6in down and planted at an angle. As soon as I saw it was round I carefully cleared the soil from around it and soon started to get a little alarmed. OMG I thought, I've found a BOMB. Then I looked more closely at the bit sticking out at the round end and could see it was not a detonator but a nut. So I dug it out but couldn't think what it could be. It's 6 1\2 in. long (not counting the nut) and 3 1\2in in diameter with a screw rim inside. Come on all you detecting Gurus, WHAT IS IT.??? Val Title: Re: WHAT IS THIS ??????
