Title: Celtic and Bronze age today Post by: avalon on March 12, 2011, 07:03:47 PM Had a good day today on one of my Celtic fields. First find was the cutting edge of a Bronze age axe head which was lying on the surface, shame the rest was missing. Followed shortly by a early Celtic brooch with a nice catch plate, and a decorated knife terminal of the same age.

I particularly like the brooch - as you say it does have an intricate catch plate. Lovely finds Neil Title: Re: Celtic and Bronze age today Post by: nomad on March 13, 2011, 06:59:14 PM love the brooch....you did have a good day !!!
