hi to everyone from worcester
been detecting for a few years now,on and off,i have a few farms in this area to detect on where i have found a few interesting things.but at present have no detector  :'(...but im on the look out for a x terra 70 or gmp havent decided yet  anyone out therewith expertise in these machines advice would be great cheers

No experience with either but welcome aboard - I am sure there are plenty on here who will be able to offer advice about both.

Hi "Bodge" Welcome ! ... not used the GMP but had 2 X-terra`s, the 70 & 705, both machines are ok  ;)

Welcome to the site.

I have used a GMP which is a good machine and very capable....don't run it with sensitivity too high.

The only downside of the two machines is that it's difficult to knock out or recognise coke/hot rocks with them. I
knw the GMP is supposed to knock them out in 'auto' but I never managed it!

hi bodger ,welcome ,i know nothing of these detectors,but due to a re curing back injury i m looking for a good spade person for the next rally.
great town was up there for the races not so long back,no winners but great times,what i can remember.
hope you get the info you need.

Thank you all for the warm welcome and advice- may be see you all at a rally somewhere soon hopefully .how do i get to be part of a DW rally is it a case of just turning up  :)

goldmax power one of best machines on market whoever said they dont knock out coke and hot rocks does,nt know how to use it

bodger.....when there is a DW rally advertised on this site, just add your name to the list, then the day before the rally you will be sent instructions how to get there(including post code)..... ;)...hope this helps.......byron
