been detecting for a few years now,on and off,i have a few farms in this area to detect on where i have found a few interesting things.but at present have no detector :'(...but im on the look out for a x terra 70 or gmp havent decided yet anyone out therewith expertise in these machines advice would be great cheers Title: Re: newbie; worcester Post by: JRD on September 25, 2011, 04:39:01 PM No experience with either but welcome aboard - I am sure there are plenty on here who will be able to offer advice about both.

The only downside of the two machines is that it's difficult to knock out or recognise coke/hot rocks with them. I knw the GMP is supposed to knock them out in 'auto' but I never managed it!
