Had a go at cleaning the Seal I found a few weeks ago and was quite pleased with the result. Here it is.

Now the only thing that concerns me with this thread is that Chef hasnt take the opportunity to rib me about the title - Something along the lines of

 "Damn, thought that this thread was going to be Taff wearing a skin tight black rubber suit"  

I dont know who's logging in under the name of Chef at the moment but give him back to us, unless there's a Ransom in which case ...keep him.  ;D

nice impression taff,
going back some years ago,Heather found a glove ring with a swan design simular to this one,now in NMofW found in the vale.
is it a swan or maybe a wild goose?
I was reading an account last week about a man by the name of Sir John wildgoose who owned liege castle in the vale.I wonder if theres a link,he was about in the late 1500s.
