going back some years ago,Heather found a glove ring with a swan design simular to this one,now in NMofW found in the vale. is it a swan or maybe a wild goose? I was reading an account last week about a man by the name of Sir John wildgoose who owned liege castle in the vale.I wonder if theres a link,he was about in the late 1500s. |
