Lovely find Andrew, That hole in the centre is tantalising I wonder if it was pierced to wear or to carry on a string with others for safe keeping.
And OUCH! why did you find a bit of a Comux inscribed one, they are one of the most valuable :o. If your only going to find a piece then you want to find a common one  ;D

A word of warning, as it is holed and a fragment I wouldn't think there is much doubt as to it's authenticity, but I would definitely get it checked as out of the 11 contained in the Celtic coin index of Oxford University, 5 have now been found to be modern forgeries (19th-20thC).
