Title: I.D.please pete or cheffy !! Post by: Roman (Ray) on December 22, 2011, 06:56:21 PM out today with staterchaser and nobby.and i found my first silver denarius.its not the best of busts but is it enough to I.D.im wondering..only the one side has a bust.the other side is quite plain.

As Alan has said it's a toughy which I fear we may never completely id, but I personally get the feel that it's from the imperatorial period, Mark Anthony or Octavian are good candidates.
