I've heard stories in the past of beach 'larks' and detectorists making a living off Blackpool beach. Seems they didn't take everything. ;D Val Title: Re: my holy grail of beach detecting Post by: dances with badgers on May 02, 2012, 03:59:23 PM woohoo what a haul weldone mate. ;)
Title: Re: my holy grail of beach detecting Post by: Iornmonkey5 on May 02, 2012, 04:44:05 PM Always get a fair few finds when you tect on beaches. I normally go west Wales where wrecks have occurred offshore hundreds of years ago. Find out the original berth for the vessel and the hunt both tides for original material.
I LOVE it. im5 Title: Re: my holy grail of beach detecting Post by: herbie on May 03, 2012, 08:21:24 AM Well done mate, lovely coin and looks like some other interesting stuff too :)
