Title: Why... why do they do it!!!!!
Post by: Dusty on May 01, 2012, 09:19:55 PM
 >:(  >:(

Bloody ebay  what is the point selling something then making things difficult?

I pay up, he sends money back complaining about fee's being to much. I suggest we close the sale and just do a cash on collection which is agreed... now all I seem to be getting is stalling tactics... my email isn't working properly, I deleted your message by mistake, my PC broke down etc etc...  ::)   >:(

Talk about blood boil,  I just want my Safari for Christ sake! Jesus, if I had a cigarette I'd bloody smoke it!

eBay

[swear filter allows the F word in all it's glory. EDIT]

Simple answer Dusty. Don,t use it. How we all put our trust in people we do not know is beyond me . My missus has an account and she has been led up a gum tree many a time and still bids on items. Could be the biggest crook on the planet sat at the other end. How do we know the person is pucca. Mind you I do look at the coins on the site and you would be amazed how often they turn up as Detectorists Finds.

Yeah Walt, good point!

Just makes my blood boil when you try to be as accommodating as you can helping out with a cash deal rather than a sale through ebay offering to travel a good few miles to collect and then get messed about from ars*hole to breakfast time..

Aaaahhhh I'm off to stew....

Hi Dusty, what happened then with the Safari?, is definitely a no no?, shame that, personally I would avoid eBay, although I did by my detector from there but the money you are spending!, I wouldn't risk it.

Best buying from someone you know maybe on a Forum or a retail shop or if it is from eBay try and buy through someone that also has a business with say a 1000+ 100% feedback, that way they have too much to loose by selling you a dud detector.

Good luck with buying anyway.

Happy bunny again  ;D

It's amazing how quickly someone with 993 100% feedback can 'get things sorted' when feedback is mentioned!

I wasn't an arse about it, just said if we can't bring this sale to a satisfactory conclusion I will report to ebay and leave the appropriate feedback. The drive was a pig but we got there and the seller was full of apologies, some BS about his son emailing me pretending to be him..?  ??? Zzzzzzz!  ::)

Anyhow, result!!
