Post by: Spooyt Vane on June 06, 2012, 02:07:39 PM Every parish on the Isle Of Man had a pound/pinfold where stray animals were put untitl the owner paid a fee for the release of his animals..The pinfold keeper icharged a penny a hoof for recovery on the Islamd.in 1452....It might be worth locating pinfolds in your area ... :)
