Title: Official Detecting Wales Rally- Eardisley
Post by: Tafflaff (Rob) on February 23, 2013, 09:13:27 PM
Ok guys ,We've been waiting to return to this farm and Ray has sorted out the return for us . Big thank you Ray!

The last time we visited this farm the grass was a little on the longside  ::) This did not stop some great finds coming up! We have loads of pasture to play with and parking is plentiful.

The meeting time will be 9.00am and the rally will start at 9.30am. The rally will finish at Dusk.
If you turn up earlier than 8.45 There will not be directional signs up so please don't!
.
This will be a DetectingWales.com members only rally and I'm afraid everyone attending must be over 16 years of age. Usual terms and conditions apply. Everyone who attends does so at their own risk and we recommend that everyone has civil liability insurance. If you are a member of a club you will probably already have this. Please check.

The location of the rally will be sent by private message to everyone who has signed up the day before the rally. Tickets are £7 per person, pay on the day.

If you wish to come please use the automated list above

Hi, I've been contacted by two DW members who cannot sign up because they have no internet access until 11.3.13 (they are moving house). Can I add them to my sign up as they really want to go?

Regards

The only stipulation the farmer had last time on this farm was that any dog doo doo's are baggied up without exception.

it's in Eardisley - about 8 miles outside Hay on Wye, over the border in England. I've been through there a couple of times in the car and it's a lovely little village with all of the black and white Tudor houses - you'd never believe that some of them were still occupied when you see the shape they are in!

Snap Hotmill, just resized my pics of Little Bro's hammy, but u beat me to the post  :D  It was an unusual one for a first hammy, so one to remember, hopefully the Doc or others will provide a definitive ID :)

Good to get out and meet everyone, didnt find anything myself, but was enjoyable to meet folk and the weather was kind to us.

Looking forward to seeing more finds :)

Likewise Hotmill :)  Did you get any luck after we met ?  I wandered back to the car, found a button and met Mrs Steptoe, we swapped detectors, but it didn't help LOL...

See you at the next event :)

Full day, seven fields and nothing but two buttons, two shotgun caps, a blank copper and a few scraps of non-ferrous metal.
The T2 worked great bit you have to walk over these things to find them. Just not my day I'm afraid.
