I found the head of a similar pin earlier this year in Gloucester.

Well done on finding a complete one.

You get the same style in the norse and they are 9/10th century ...You might just have a burial as the bending is where it went through the cloak...Its worth another look mate and if more pins appear and bent .It might be a cemetery ?
