Here are some of my (and Marks) ‘dug up’ highlights from recently. Seem to be doing well with the Roman zoomorphics as of late with this duck thing (possible mount), this pilgrim’s ampulla (which is in great condition and only my second) as well as these Elizabeth hammereds' and the usual piles of Georgian coppers. Anyone found anything similar to the Roman artefact?

The apulla's got a cracking design on it mate - I am sure one of my reference books covers who they are in pilgrimage for/where. I'll check later and give you a bell.

The Roman duck is quacking as well!

Nice going both, I had a Roman "Duck" a while back (OK 20 years) which had a small lug on the base where it had broken and it was recorded as a fitting from the rim of a metal bowl :-\
Is there anything on the reverse of the ampulla?

Thanks guys, well stoked with this haul, probably won't find anything good for ages now. Yea Neil 'quacking' indeed  :D. There is something similar on the base of this as well Geoff and there is a design on the other side of the ampulla. I'll post a picture later.

Knew I'd seen the design of the four leafs on an ampulla before somewhere. Apparently its a East Anglia type many made at Walsingham.

Whooooa boy! The petal design does turn up on many ampulla from all over, those from the shrine at Walsingham tend to have a capital W on them and occasionally a crown (for the Virgin Mary), there seems to be a mini concentration of the same petal design from Wiltshire and Dorset pointing more to a possible link with Salisbury.
The problem with an id on Ampulla seems to be that they were the "Kiss Me Quick" hat of the pilgrimage circuit and so could change quite often and also the same, unofficial,  sellers changing venues but keeping design :-\

Nice finds Jaydogg ;) The ampulla is in great shape, I have a example very similar to yours, but its not in the best condition :-\ also with the petal type design, with a circle design on the other side what I cant make out? whats on the other side of yours? 

Nice ampulla Dale. I have another one which is in a similar condition to yours but happy to find one in any condition  as they are classic detecting finds. Here is the other side of mine which has a crown design. I haven't done any research on it yet though.
