I was amongst that pack plucking the few Romans out ;D
If it was a hoard found id stay well clear other than that I'm all over the fields we had yest like a kid in a sweet shop  ;)

If it had been a hoard you wouldn't have a choice as we tape off 100 sq meters to be fair the the finder ;)

That's what I'm saying geof but I wouldn't compare anyone who was out yest too flys and poo after all we are all there to find things hence why we all attended.  Just happened this field was producing more finds than the others  ;)

And the best is, after ploughing there'll probably be just as many next year.....bring it on ;)

My mistake I was strolling over after lunch after hearing that field was spitting them Romans out i was more intrested in my coffee and munch to drop it all and run.so the pack off dogs go too the runners after hearing the first shout Romans have been found

i found my 2 together further down the field than where most people were finding them at the top of the field.I thought everyone behaved very well there was almost a waltz going on as people steered around each others patches ;D

Maybe this is a kinder description   ;D

Great to see so many Romans coming out, i was not luckey enough to find one  >:( but all credit goes to Rob and Cheff etc for finding us such a great site. With so much land and being ploughed again if there is another rally there it will be epic again. Had my best finds again on field 2  which i think still has some amazing finds still hidden . So thanks again Rob and Cheff ;)

Badger did well, very well :)  He was the first to sound the alarm for sure LOL ;)

I was taught to keep the nasty thoughts to myself.  My Nan always said if you can't say something nice, say nothing.

i agree Val and well done badger i wasn't going to comment on this post but i don't understand why some people get funny when other people start finding stuff thanks to people making them aware that the areas producing finds that's one of the very few things that shows a darker side to some people and one of the reasons i don't usually attend rallies just be happy for anyone who's finding stuff and if you are also its a bonus  :)

Who's getting funny Steve ??? ??? ??? ??? I don't think you've read it properly no one is bitter that anyone found anything more how funny it was that this particular field only had around 8 people in it until word got around that Roman coins and brooches had been found then within twenty minutes their ranks had swollen to at least 50 and I was one of them so contrary to your comment no one is  showing a darker side in regard to Badger he was one of the eight of the original finders ;)
