Scammer advertises say a Deus, you then pay by PayPal into account they give you ... This account is not theirs but an account of someone else that is selling something. Scammer then goes and collects item from that other person (as you have paid for it)leaving them totally out of the equation and untraceable. So possibly the person you have is totally oblivious.
