Pretty sure it says ZJ  875  ?  R
And on the other side it's stamped 9ct  375

I know 275 is 9 ct but why would it have 2 marks and I'm pretty sure it does say 875 on the other as I've looked under a powerful glass , and 875 is 21ct , confused

Its definitely 375= 9ct , 21ct is normally Indian gold and is a different colour gold. It's probably says 375 on the other side as well

Nice find, but I think you have taken the picture of Hallmark upside down.
Part of the mark is CZ for the Cubic Zirconia stones, not sure about rest.

Can't be upside down Jeff , the rest is the rite way up and it's deffo ZJ which I believe is the makers mark , and the R is the date which I think is 1952?

I can just make out the 375 for 9ct, I just  thought maybe the C in the first stamp was a little worn and upside down.
Whatever the outcome Gold is Gold, and it's still a nice ring  ;)

could well be stamped 375 on both sides ive seen plenty of rings stamped on outside of band has what appears to be a import or continental marks inside shank id say its 9ct with paste stones

theres allso a chance its gold on silver and would carry both hallmarks 925 and 375 or 800 having said this it is normally stamped inside when gold on silver

Both stamps are on the inside

Nice find Muddy, Well it's obviously 9ct and the "cross" is the London import mark so it's of foreign origin, the ZJ does show up quite a bit on a Google search but all references seem to be with imported jewellery from the early 70's onwards so my money would be on the R being the date letter for 1991 ;)

So verdict 9ct gold inported as can be seen by marks it may have been retested and stamped again 375 as the first mark is poorly stuck somtimes items are hallmarked many times more common on seperate linked pieces or bracelets
