That's a good shout Peter ;) I was looking at the dies edges there very ragged and quite small, it will be interesting to see what it makes. Title: Re: A Intersting Item Post by: probono on May 20, 2015, 09:34:48 AM My only comment (apart from the fact I've got a couple of items like that from experiments with plaster of paris / hammers :) ), is that it doesn't have any white lead oxidation, which I would expect from an lead item from the time - even lead buried for a few years gets covered in it.
