Title: Finds from yesterday Post by: icedout84 on August 06, 2015, 04:43:26 PM Here are my finds from yesterday.... a roman spindle whorl, something that looks like a spindle whorl ???, a lead seal from phoenix company liverpool, an unidentified item and a decorated peice of pottery or stone (any ideas) ???

One of the other objects looks like one of those bits of lead that they put on to balance wheels,maybe to balance the wheels of a chariot !!!...LOL👍 Title: Re: Finds from yesterday Post by: benny on August 06, 2015, 08:41:57 PM Your decorated piece of pottery/stone looks like a fragment of asbestos sheeting.
