Title: Not a bad outing yesterday
Post by: wittsy1 on October 17, 2015, 06:41:00 AM
Had a go yesterday with the ctx and came away with a few goodies.

1963 20 Centimes
1902 sixpence
1888 penny
unreadable half penny I think
Tiny hammered which I need to clean for ID
1 Musket ball
A wedge shaped lump of metal, not Lead or Iron but damn heavy
The base/stem of a vessel of some sort which seems to have some age to it.

I thought 'what a coincidence'  I found one very similar a couple of days ago. Now I look at it though it's not the same and mine is lead, proved by John who promptly bent it. Have a look and see what I mean.
Yours could be bronze but it's the wrong colour so not sure. Well done on the finds.

Tiny hammered looks like a half penny of one of the Edwards, London Mint.
