Title: Robot lie detector (JOKE) Post by: detectordave on June 20, 2009, 05:14:59 AM Mike was a salesman who made a good living selling unusual gimmicks.
One day Mike arrived home with another one of his weird purchases. It was a robot lie detector. 'What the hell are you going to do with that?' said Mary, Mike's wife. 'Watch and learn', said Mike and with that he waited for his teenage son to return from home school, two hours late. 'Where have you been son?' said Mike 'Several of us went to the library to study, Dad' said Timmy, and with that the robot sprang to life, wheeled itself round to Timmy and then slapped him across the head. Mary looked on in complete shock. 'Son' said Mike 'I must warn you now, that this robot is a lie detector and that is what will happen each time it detects a lie. Now, again, where were you?' Timmy now with his eyes full of tears said, 'We went to Billy's house to watch a film' 'What did you watch' asked Mike 'Er, a documentary about farm animals' Timmy said nervously. Again the robot spun around and slapped Timmy harder across his head. 'I'm sorry I lied' said Timmy now in floods or tears, 'We was really watching a porno film' 'I am ashamed of you son for lying,' said Mike, 'When I was your age, I never lied to my Parents' The robot then spun round and punched Mike square in the face, knocking him out of his chair. Mary doubled over in laughter and said to Mike, 'Boy did you ever ask for that, after all he is your son.' With that the robot knocked Mary out cold!
