I managed a couple of hours last night. Found nothing apart from buttons for the first hour and was making my way across the field towards the hedge as I was dying for a pee ;D when I had a decent signal. Very pleased when it turned out to be this toy cannon. Think the end of it must have been blown off and it was thrown away, a first for me so chuffed. They blew up on a regular basis so seeing as they were a popular toy there must have been a lot of injured kids around. God knows, we find enough of the ball. The only one I have found so far was cast in lead, its still my wish list to find a decent one in bronze. Maybe on Sunday, who knows. A barrel explosion strong enough to blow one of these apart would have been a big bang.
