Title: Coin weight and liz penny Post by: hedgehog on June 25, 2009, 03:26:11 PM Had a scout around and as I got to the one field (the grass has been cut for days) they arrived to bale it up.
Found a lot of lead and shotgun cases then as I was tiring under the heat of the day, the lizzy came up (cross crosslet 1560/61) not great condition but glad to find it, it was just under the surface. 20 minutes later found the coin weight, it was on the surface!!! Don't find them very often and like the condition of this one, it's for a gold angel and depicts St Michael spearing the dragon.
