Title: Cadfael the series on DVD Post by: hedgehog on July 08, 2009, 08:00:30 AM Got this last week, for those that don't know it's about a monk in 12th century Shrewsbury (Derek Jacobi) and he investigates death and murders. I am sure there are authentic items but it's great fun to watch about how life may have been during one of the civil war (anarchy) periods in england and wales and the struggle between King Stephen and Maud.
