Kev the battle between Rhys ap Tudor and the normans hirwaun on your post and on the other persons post the welsh led by ??? against the normans at rhymney and the welsh against the picts?saxons near blackrock Imust admit only one battle so far in your time slot I have read in the past about other supposed battles from the Ironage up to the dark agesmislaid the notes I took but suspect the site of a celts v romans battle site in my area  ;D Im not critiscising your post  ;) just saying that non of the records are totally accurate there was also a fierce battle between the welsh and either the saxons or danes in the vale of glamorgan missing from the other persons post  ;)mole
