Well done again Mark ;)

The George was in great nick, and again you had a good variety of finds, :D

It's like a picnic , when your about...sunny weather.....brought the chairs, offered his sandwiches around.

Good day and company, all round

Mark You'll be up to your gills in George III silver now.  I was complaining I never found any,  found my first a couple of months ago now I'm sick of them  ;)   Actually I'd never get sick of finding them they're a really nice milled silver.  ;D

Thats definately a broken spur Kev - its not modern either.

I found one with a deep green patina once and showed it to a few guys at a SCAN meeting who were all sure it had an age to it. Took it with James (off DW) to show Mark he looked at and said "It was made in England!"

I said "How do you know that?"

He replied because "It says MADE IN ENGLAND by there" and proceeded to point to the stamp making it very modern. ;D

I felt a right fool and so did James! ;)

Your is much older however mate

Neil
