a man lives on the 21st floor of a block of flats and every day he leaves his flat, walks to the lift, gets into the lift, presses 0 for ground floor and when the lift gets to the ground floor, he leaves the lift and goes off to work.

on his return at the end of the day, he enters the flats, walks to the lift, calls the lift and when it arrives gets into it. he then presses number 14 and then the lift takes him to floor 14. he gets out and proceeds to walk up the 7 flights of stairs to the 21st floor, where he lives.

Why does he do this every day?

Just checked , its actually , Nyala and Nilgai , so i think we're both in-between, they are both antelopes, Nyimba is a province in Zambia, and Nyami is a Zambeze river God,,, close

lol just checked myself, said its been yrs I had a big argument about this at the time (20 yrs ago) The 3 i was told at the time were narwhale, nyala and the numbat. I had said a naked mole rat but he said its a mole to which i replied  well a narwhale is a whale. we never agreed on anything lol

You may ask ONE guard ONE question only to ensure you go through the correct door

What is that question and what do you do when you get the answer ?

remember it vaguely wasnt it something like ask the one guard is the other telling the truth and vice versa type of thing or is he lying?
