Post by: bymatt666 (byron) on November 30, 2009, 10:49:55 PM i watched "flog it" today and they had a bronze socketed axe head on there....it was verified as genuine yet it sold in the auction for only £100. amazing....an item at least 2000 years old and worth just £100 !.....suprised me.....byron

Its ebay that shocks me the most last year 5 Roman brooch,s went for £25 ! only one was whole But its a crying shame items like this arnt held with higher regard ;0( all the best phil Title: Re: flog it ! Post by: 1morecoin on November 30, 2009, 10:56:24 PM there probably was'nt anyone really interested in those type of artefacts in the auction house, coins and artefacts need to be put into a specialist auction to get a real interest in the sale which will then get multiple bidders which will push up the price.
