Title: Roughneck Shovel.
Post by: Legacy Hunter on December 26, 2009, 07:11:51 PM
Hi All
I went out and bought 2 of these shovels today from B&Q for £8.98 each The mighty Thor(Leighton) also bought one as well they are very good for what they are.
They are 27 in long overall and the blade is 6 in x 8 in.
They also have a lifetime guarantee so you cant go wrong.

Granted, we haven't tried them out yet, but they do seem really hardy so they should be great. They're also just the right to size to carry round with you.

Be advised, folks, if you're gonna buy one you won't find them in the main shovel aisle in B & Q. They're on the racks out in the Builders Yard area. Enjoy.

:) :) Hi Phil! I've just come back from Caerphilly B & Q store and there were 3 left after my purchase. They are kept in the Builder's Yard section on the left in the Roughneck tools area (not in the main aisles). If you ring the store, they will reserve you one I'm sure, that's what I did. Good luck, I hope you manage to get one! Best wishes, Sue :) :)
