Title: Out Detecting Today Post by: SimonH on January 12, 2010, 01:38:27 PM Me and Jo had a few hours out at our local farm, ground wes very soft considering the 2-3" of snow on the ground.
Jo had a 1862 Halfpenny, lead bag seal, a lovely Womens Land Army Badge, I ended up with a 1861 halfpenny and 3 lead bag seals. Last year she received a Diploma and letter of thanks from Gordon Brown and was invited by the Mayor of Torfaen to a buffet for local ladies who served in the Land Army. Better late than never eh? lol.
