Title: Has anyone detected !!!!!!! Post by: waltonbasinman on March 09, 2009, 01:08:50 PM Has anyone ever done any detecting at or near to the village of Bwlch on the A40 between Crickhowell and Brecon. Just wondered because it is where the Time Team dug a few years ago and if anybody saw the programme an antiquarian had deposited real finds of brooches, coins, swords and statues amongst other things from all periods around his land and I know a chap who lives there and was going to approach some landowners there about some detecting. :)

Post by: bymatt666 (byron) on March 09, 2009, 03:27:29 PM i remember that prog too....i was in the brecon museum 2 weeks ago..i went to see the dug-out canoe they recovered from llangors lake in 1925.....great to see.....as i did'nt have my camera with me that day i took a pic with my phone...unfortunately i cant post it on here... :-[....the brecon area has lots of history so good luck on finding some detecting land there waltonbasinman... :)
