You're right Terry, Nice finds you must have dug a hell of a lot of holes to get that lot mate. Sorry you had to answer your own post fella, I think people need to start giving more positive feedback on everyday detecting finds.

Many times I've heared it say  "I dont do replies like 'Nice find' or 'Well done' , I dont see the point"

Well I do see the point, If part of this forum is'nt just to give each other some encouragement, then what are we here for ? Detecting is'nt only about the next hammered, Stater or Roman coin.  It can be just about someones 1st Viccy Penny or a good day on the beach. Lets not outgrow this hobby and forum guys and gals.

Rant over.

Well said 55 !

Apologies to Terry,
Speaking for myself i wont go into details but my time on the net is limited at the moment with life stuff and my other hobbys , i only have a quick flick ( i dont mean in a pervy way  :P) when i get the chance.so i sort of only read the post that grabs my attention,

Everyones finds should be celebrated, we all know what it takes to get out there and rescue long lost items,
I,ll be posting pics of my vast ring pulls and my modern rusty decimal coinage later and i better get for positive encouraging posts  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( lol

Yes well done Terry. 16 pound coins so at least you got a take away for the family on the way home.  ;D  As Rob says the least you can do is encourage members who in all weathers, are of all ages, varying ability and interest and have taken the time to talk about there day with others online whether good or bad should be commended. Nice one fella.

Well done Terry :D  will take modern coins over ring pulls & shotgun caps any day!
I like to find the pre decimal as I'm from that age group & anything with history, but any modern goes in a tub for sainsburys coin exchanger ( its those dam 1/2 p I hate digging ;D lol )
cheers
