Title: yesterdays finds
Post by: handyman [Alan} on June 13, 2010, 11:13:45 AM
Well, we were driving around and were lucky to come acorss a ploughed and rolled field. New land, so we approached the landowner, who very kindly gave us permission to go on it as nothing had been put into the ground.

so good fun was had, enjoy the pics [i posted a couple for peter to ID], here's the rest.

the buckle is an assymetrical buckle dated 17th century. It was a surface find

cheers

cheers guys for that, but all credit is due to techony, who has the gift of the gab, when it comes to the landowner chat.
