Title: some recent finds
Post by: James on November 06, 2010, 08:40:40 PM
Here are some of our recent (ish) finds, my dads George III full guinea (jammy bugger), a medieval? ring with a ship on the front both found in Wales, if anyone knows how old it is suggestions are welcome, and a bronze oar guide guessing of a clinker boat found on a very isolated cove in Brixham while away on hols, was very deep! had to move a few boulders to get to it lol

The ring is very similar to our residential Roman Rays masons ring. We (as in chef, lol) came up with a date of around 1800, which would also tie in with yours, as the boat depicts a 19c clipper.
