Title: No rally for me, but got a hammy
Post by: Chef Geoff on January 30, 2011, 06:55:26 PM
Out for a few hours today, just pretending I was at the rally ;D
Only a couple of finds, but at last I have broken my Hammy duck for 2011. Peter I know the penny is past the point of no return ID wise but any idea of the mint? Also this buckle came up, I know or at least think it's an early one, but not quite certain how old.

What a shame it's so wrecked Geoff.

It's an Edward I penny, Class 3g, Chester mint (CIVITAS CESTRIE).

A few hundred years ago you could of been burnt for knowledge like that. :D

Thank you Peter, I give up on trying to work out how you did that.
