Title: Re: fields Post by: waltonbasinman on February 22, 2011, 08:20:12 PM I deliver to a few places all around Barnsley, Cirencester, Kemble, Lechlade, Frampton Mansell to name just a few places and a lot of land is owned by the Crown who say a big no to metal detecting. Have spoken quite a few times to farmers about this and to be good neighbours and fit in they have to turn away a lot of other hobby and interest requests for their fields. Metal detecting, Mountain biking, Motorcycle sport is a big No. Now if you have a horse or a shotgun thats different. Just my personal view. But the farmers would rather say no for a quiet life.
