Just a quick update on the rally so far: Weather OK, 8+ hammered coins found, very nice Charles halfcrown turned up by Melonhead. Lovely Roman silver denarius. Possible roman ear scoop or bodkin.

Weather forecast good for tomorrow. Be there if you can...

Sorry we had to leave so early today , it was planned that we was going to stay there both days but something came up while i was out detecting and had to rush home , i did find a coin and asked a few members what they though it was , which a few didnt think it was that old , cleaned it up and only coin i can find like it is george 3rd , not in very good condition though any tips on cleaning it would be great Smiley
