sadly not mine, no hallmark ,looks crudely made but cant see a join in band ,there are some marks inside the band .could it possibly have been made with a coin

Spot on Silky, yes we used to make them in metalwork in school and there are examples going back to Georgian times. It probably started life as a 2/-
