I wonder do any our our members live near to Llangrannog in West Wales twixt Cardigan and Aberaeron??
I am thinking of spending a week there around spring tides in March.
I have found a nice little cottage very well situated at a good price for me and the good wife.
Just wondered if any of our members have done any detecting there?.....Cheers and H.H. PaulB. Cool

I live at Tanygroes nearAberporth  and have detected the beaches at Newquay Poppets sand and aberporth the sand seems to deep to get down to the hard pack it needs a good offshore gale to clear some sand from the beach, i have found a lot of gold on beaches in Kent ,Hampshire and Spain i will be re trying the local beaches this summer when i will have my bungalow modernised so i might see you on the beach.
