Hi,

I am writing from Estonia. I was at Weekend Wanderers Rally 2012 where I talked with guys from Wales. I heard in Wales there are nice metal detecting rallies. Therefore I thought I would like to come to Wales metal detecting rallies, maybe to the biggest rally. But when is the biggest MD rally in Wales usually?

Also I`m very interested to see medieval architecture- churches and castles. I am planning to travel in Wales a little.

Hi Toomas, Welcome to the Detecting Wales Site. As has been mentioned, Tafflaff is the boy to talk to regarding rallies but your
right in that Wales has some wonderful detecting and visitor locations. Its a trip I'm sure that will give you lifetime memories.
If you do get over here, I'm sure some of us will take you out on some of the farms we have..

Toomas, welcome to the site.

The rallies to watch out for are our 2 day rallies. We failed to hold one last year as the weather conspired against us. We are planning to have a 2 day rally some time this year, normall between end of July - beginning of September.
