Hi Guys/Gals, just a thought, what footwear would you recommend for detecting in this hot spell, I used my mudboots on sunday, and I thought they must be leaking lol, do I need a pair of boots/shoes with no metal attached, your help will be much appeciated

I just been to field and trek in betws y coed also they sell on sports direct website, a pair of karrimor boots, £35 and are fantastic, hard sole for digging, breathable, Gore-Tex. they have allsorts ranging from £2.00 to £60 all really good and tons of styles.

Yes I've got to agree with mm Karrimor boots are good and not too expensive. I've been wearing a pair for 2 years and still plenty of life in them and I'm very hard on boots
