 the staffs hoard  Grin I dunno ,you tell me ,found today tested as gold found in a area no stranger to roman ,celtic,saxon finds  2.10g 1" in length.

1st thought that come into my head was the rillaton cup/ringlemeer cup? same sort of design which I believe was celic and in the field below where this came out I did have  a bronze celtic tankard handle so ??

Had similar some years ago it was put down to Bronze age!! yours more detailed thou. Look forward to all the rest of the hoard and pieces Wink Roll Eyes Wink

What was your tankard handle like, and have you managed to find the other one as they were often buried as grave goods as you probably know, so defiantly worth looking mate!!
