Digger Dave1 and I managed a few hours on a new farm today before the impending storm! All was pretty quiet, then Dave called me over, low and behold he'd found a lovely early long cross, possibly Henry III. After a few swings in the general area up popped up three cut halves in quick succession!!
So all in all a very productive day, especially as we could only go in the one field at the moment, looking forward to getting back there soon.
