Hi guys, found (in my back garden, probably at least 3-4 feet down) late last night in the half dark, the garden I am refering to is much like a field ... I don't want to risk damaging it further by washing it - is vinegar okay to place it in? is it Okay to run under water? Any ideas what it could be, one word on it is SPECTRUM. Intriguing but we would need first a larger photograph (you've reduced it too much) secondly what size is it and as to cleaning that would depend on what metal it is?
And can I ask what you were doing down 3'-4' to find it in the first place?

Dont use the "fishermans" ruler its not that accurate
