A beautiful morning spent on our local quiet fields.

I was amazed at finding this piece of silver close to the gate where i park the car. I considered that despite the number of times that Techony, Diggerdave and i have been on this field in the past 9 months, we all walked over this object that was no more than 10 yards from the gate entrance.

how did we miss it!!   Grin Grin

Thats a great find there Al, Just a thought but how far do you normaly walk into that field before you switch on your detector ? I've
found coins by a gate recently ,that I've walked through many times and I realised that I don't normaly switch mine on until I'm at least a couple of yards into a field.
