Hi I had a couple of hours this evening on a new permission the first signal i dug out came this lovely hammered with a diameter of 24mm
and a few holes later out came the copper/bronze coin.with a diameter of 20mm Please if possible could you id both the coins for me

Great finds again Tezza well done Wink I think the hammy is a groat of Robert II of Scotland (1371-1390) Edinburgh mint (Spink 5134) Wink

I can't help thinking it's simply a very badly corroded copper of George V, the bust is facing the right way and around the forehead area you can read GRA:BRITT Undecided
