Why are we having so many people just whacking up links all the time, is this just to get the users post count up?

We all obviously have the internet therefore we have Search Engines!

Perhaps it's only me but I'd prefer not to see link after link after link!

Your thoughts please?

I'm not botherd by the links if i think its worth it i will look at them .in a way its better to put them up if Ur trying to let people know about something rather than trying to explainer what the site is about .some find it annoying some find it usefull but every one has different opinions

I have mixed feelings on the Links - some are informative and worth reading, others really are not.

Since the start of this website I personally have always copied and pasted the article if its a newspaper piece rather then just linking to it. I also ensure that I give the publisher a nod on the first line. I personally would call it "lazy journalism" to just link articles, but thats just my view on it and how I tend to post here.

I do enjoy some of the website links regarding detecting. The non-detecting ones I tend to ignore, and rarely bother opening but again thats up to me.

Cheers

I agree that some (not all) of these links are worthy of a read but surely it would be better & tidier to put them all under one heading rather than have so many all posted up at the same time?
