I wasn't far off my forecast that I made on this actual website that city would win 3-1. Bristol hit the metalwork so was almost spot on.

Great match. Really enjoyed the day and worth missing a club rally even if I had found a gold coin or hoard.... Yes, to see CCFC beat Bristol to go top of the league.

Also, I saw a 'bubble' in action as discussed on the site earlier in the week. The Bristol bubble in the corner of the ground were very quiet at the end. They were forced to sit and watch the match to the dire end. I bet a few of 'em would love to have burst out of the 'bubble'  LOL

Would love to go to the home match against Newcastle in Sept but the missus is dragging me on another cruise. I'll be getting my brother to text the score to me as the goals go in...hopefully for Cardiff. Got a feeling it'll be a 2-2 draw.

Burke was my man of the match. Don't know why Jones sticks with Bothroyd. He's never really impressed me.

Anyone else forecasting the result of the Newcastle match?

Any thought's on city's players?

I bet Cardiff half time/full time and Cardiff to win. The same with Chelsea so had a good day today. Newcastle v  Cardiff 1-1 methinks. Good start by both teams this year. Magpies off field problems haven't shown on the pitch.

"Its all gone quiet over there! - Yes its all gone quiet over there!"

Sorry Paul I couldn't resist it! Great result for us - I thought the young kid at right back for us Adam Matthews (age 17) was outstanding and Burke ran you off the pitch. Nice to see us beat Bristol, for a change as you normally turn us over on a regular basis. Last time I saw us beat you was in the early 90's at Ashton Gate - when we also took home your turnstiles as souveniers - but thats another story!

"I can't read or write but that don't really matttter, coz I came down from Brizzle and I can ride a tractorrr!"

All joking aside I may have sorted a ticket for you either against QPR or Newcastle on Saturday 12th Sept - just waiting for confirmation mate.

Cheers for the points Wink

I tried not to gloat when you told me today that Cardiff were 3-0 up Paul. Especially as I had already tried a wind up with the replica staters (that's another story). I thought you might be having me on! 3-0 ! I couldn't comprehend a victory that size!
