went to the west hanney rally yesturday and found this little beauty
but not sure if its a token or a jeton any advice will be most appreciated

my gut reaction is jeton 13th to 15th century .... will have to do some more research to confirm this.

That's a lovely condition find. I agree with Alan circa 14thC Jeton, the cross does give it a French look but I must admit I have never seen the other sides design before. So over to someone with a book.

Nice find. The design is the stylized 'Castle of Tours', like on these jetons:

But the cross side isn't right for these. I'm still uncertain whether this is a jeton or a coin.
