well you live and learn !!  I didnt know about the lead being able to get something for it, the fields I do was an old roman lead mine, so you can image the amount of lead we pick up, all giving a beautiful sound LOL

Well done on your finds today.   We went to the beach yesterday and found £3.00 LOL.   Rob found an old toy bomb - the ones you would attach a cap to and drop it down.  That was nice, I was convinced it was a real one to start with, and then I changed names and became "beach womble".   (Only oldies will understand that)

Its just im not sure where to park !    £4.00 at Ogmore !  Ouch

this year so far i have made 400 quid off rings and coins,30 quid off brass,40 off copper and 35 off lead and i have only sold a few of my finds.the etrac should have paid for itself by xmas,ooh and about 60 quid in modern coinage

yes heather its worth the bother humping it about but lead prices at the moment are very good, havent seen a toy bomb for years  great find keep on posting    nice one badger thats good money your getting for out enjoying yourself, takeing in the views, fresh air, what a wonderfull hobby we have, i  just come back from an hour out, more lead 6 coins, best 1889 half penny, want bother with a picture, keep on swinging  mickycoin
