Just thought I would post some recent finds now that I have had chance to clean them and wax them. Nothing special, but here they are anyways

Nice going Jon some lovely finds there Wink
BUT I feel I should draw your attention to the fact that there is a detecting code of conduct which clearly states in Clause number 11;
                              "The finding of Crotal Bells, whole or otherwise, before the completion of 32 years involvement within the hobby of Metal Detecting shall without exception or malice be deemed null and void, spawny and just downright unsporting and that all said finds should be put back where you bloody well found them untill such time as it will not cause offence to Chef"

Just thought I'de point that out Grin

Haha I really must make sure I read all the rules before I go finding such things. Hope your punishment isn't too harsh Geoff  Wink

Just out of curiosity though, how often do crotal bells come up in complete condition?

Once every 32 bleedin years for me Cry Angry
But the spawnier members do seem to find them more regularly, At a guess I would say that on Detecting Wales as a whole we see about 6 a year.

Well Geoff, in future I will set my detector to the  " don't find anything that will annoy Geoff"" setting.  Grin
