Great shortcross pal, I can see your hands are still shaking from the excitement  Grin Grin Grin

I make it Nichole on Lund, so that's a Henry III then I think.

My 3/4 penneth in the form of a longcross cut half and a shortcross quarter. The longcross is RICARD so could be any of a number of mints but I do like the way the N & R have been contracted. The quarter, well I haven't got a clue  Huh.

Also today, our m8 David came up with this gorgeous groat. Any help on the Id would be appreciated. The N's appear unbarred and there are annulets all over the inscription, I'm guessing at Eddie IV but I really don't know. Luckily his sick note expires tomorrow so we might get a bit of peace and quiet on the field Lol.

Finally four little grots just to fill the space up a bit  Grin

after a hard mornings work, i joined tony on the field, and recovered just 2 finds in the 4 hours. slow going admittedly, but heh, at least it was a dry day!  Grin Grin

enjoy the roman and a wotsit.

Yeh, and next time keep the flippin noise down if you're going to arrive late!. I could hardly hear the hammies coming through with all your boom-boom-booming  Roll Eyes

Better still maybe treat yourself to one of those stealth jobbies instead of the cheapies from the Army Surplus.

Me, I'll stick to road transport thanks.
